Support Service Technician- Mexico MO
Provides electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic repair and maintenance support, including some fabrication. Performs various support activities for die maintenance and machine shop functions. Demonstrates core operating values and code of conduct through actions and behaviors.
Description
1. Repairs and maintains electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic functions of the operating die-cast machines including preventive and predictive maintenance.
2. Operates various machine shop pieces of equipment including lathes, drill presses, saws, hand tools meters, gauges, micrometers, and computers.
3. Programs PLCs for the die-cast machines and trim press operations as well as electronic, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Required:
High School/GED and 3-5 years of related experience.
Certificate from technical/trade school or relevant work experience to qualify for industrial “journeyman” status in the electrical, electronic, or mechanical fields. Must pass BMCT testing.
Preferred: Siemens PLC experience. Experience working in the die casting industry.

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for all elements of the Quality Management System to accurately interpret how they apply across the OH plants and assigned quality department staff.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
Certified QMS Auditor, responsible for reporting performance indicators and concerns to management Coordinate the training of internal auditors, ensure QMS internal audits are scheduled, executed and closed with all related corrective actions. Report on the status of internal audits to management as required. Participate in plant continuous improvement projects
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor of Science degree in Quality Systems, Operations or related field. ASQ Certification 5 Years’ experience of overseeing the ISO Quality Management System. Knowledge of quality systems, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, SPC, and Control plans. Demonstrated experience working with Lean initiatives, 8D root cause analysis, correction action planning, Poke Yoke.

The client is the industry leading medical textile rental service provider serving the Healthcare industry. They operate eleven processing facilities located in the Tri-State area. Since 1915, they have been a privately held, family run business. Their customer base consists of more than 3,000 clients throughout the Northeast, including acute-care facilities, nursing homes, long-term and assisted living facilities, surgi-centers and diagnostic clinics, as well as professional, medical and dental offices.
Plant Managers are responsible for:
Maintain individual and department performance at established standards
Supervise up to five (5) Production Supervisors and all plant employees
Ensure production levels and productivity goals are achieved
Maintain daily reports
Hire, train and discipline employees as a means for achieving goals
Maintain a high level of quality of the product being sent to customers
Ensure that policies and procedures are implemented and followed
Qualifications:
5+ years management experience running a plant in a production environment
Bilingual English/Spanish is a MUST!!
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting
High degree of customer responsiveness
Understands production workflow / MS Office
Proven ability to manage to standards
